So Its Fun to tinker With Stuff….

I have got a few things to do:

1) Test with more than 2 People
2) Multiple User authentication
3) Max load test
4) See if we can crash it.
5) Suggestions on new channels to add (Once i have listed the main TBA below)

So i thought i would appeal to the OCAU and general Gaming people and see who would be interested in testing this for me, i have a huge array of channels for a multitude of games so im sure there is something for all.

I also need ideas and suggestions, but most of all feedback. once i get some interest we can talk testing dates and times.

And after this it might become free range for those of OCAU who wish to use it or public to see what happens

Active Users: 1 / 30 (Preferred Min Stress Test)

So i decided to work with the limited living space i have and make more room fore some preductive work around here.

Agenda:
– More space for having entertainment
– More workspace for doing PC and Console mods
– Not go out of my mind.

So Far this has been working well, however im only part the war there, a new desk of massive customer proportions is required to continue this project, i will be posting some pics from be fore and after very shortly

Everyone i think should consider these things, building one and getting right however is another matter for the press.

Box is:

Athlon 2400+ 1800Mhz
2GB DDR
2x 500GB in RAID1
2 x 1000MB LAN NICS
OS: Debian 4.0r1
Runs Wine and uTorrent 1.8.2, SSH, VNC Support

This guy also runs headless and can be accessed via SSH, VNC or through a web browser for easy monitoring and adding of torrents.

Current uptime for this beast has so far been 22 days and counting since i put it in. Great and has handled over 510GB worth of data downloads with out dying

Yeah just thought i’d put it out there cause having 150GB’s is for WTF!!!!

So yes recently upgraded my interwebs cause i figured i need to have faster access to the world and the gaming comminuty when i have time.

I also seem to have become a developer for the Apple iPhone platform, although it may be a while before i get to release anything useful for anyone to use.

Being a Developer for apple does have its perks though, being able to look at things before they are released to the public and iron out some kinks is a great hobby for those looking for a little challenge, will let people know when i actually get a chance to play with it all.
